Computer running slow?
Internet Explorer gone crazy popping up pages you don't want?

You're infected with 'SPYWARE'.
50% of all computer crashes are caused by spyware.
Some spyware runs silently and you may not be aware that
your every move on the Internet is being observed and recorded,
while others will make the operation of your computer a living
nightmare. Pop up windows will appear, your computer shuts down
and restarts for no reason making you lose files you have just
spent hours working on.

If a user does not detect and remove spyware from their computer, all his files may get infected and it may stop working. All his passwords, credit card numbers and other personal information may be stolen before he can realise what is going on. Once spyware has been removed, the computer will run much faster.

It is the inexperienced user that gets caught out.

What commonly happens is while surfing a page will appear declaring that your computer is infected.
Clicking the button that says 'Click Here For A Free Scan' or similar will install a program that pesters you to buy the software. A similar scenario is the user is already infected and is looking for a free fix and is duped into doing the above.

So How Do You Fix The Problem?

It is very difficult to find and remove spyware software from a computer manually. Spyware protection software detects and removes spyware and ad ware from your computer automatically. It can also protect your computer from data thieves, hackers, malicious e-mail and other threats.

There are many free spyware protection software products available. These programs can be used to detect and remove spyware and adware that is already present in your computer. But you have to know where to look to find them. In Wight Portal's members area, there is an article explaining how to use some of the best free software to optimise your computer. Screenshots of the programs are included along with a link to download them.

This could very well save you upto £40 an hour if you get someone to do it for you.
