343 Industries is bringing Halo to SXSW in Texas in March for the Halo Championship Series Invitational. The tournament will be taking over the esports stage and more than $100,000 will be on the line for the players.
Arguably the more interesting tidbit from its tournament announcement, however, is the promise of some kind of announcement related to Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Next to the links detailing how to acquire tickets to the tournament on the blog post, 343 writes, “Not only will you be treated to amazing matches and gameplay, but we’ve also got some exciting [Halo: The Master Chief Collection] news to reveal during the show.”
The tease could be any number of things. Maybe Halo: The Master Chief Collection will be making its way to PC, or maybe Halo: Reach will be added the collection as free or paid content.

Our Take
I would love to have Reach be added to the collection, and would even be happy to pay for it, but I am guessing 343 will have a release date for a PC version of the game at the show.
