At E3 this year, CD Projekt Red showed off a new demo for Cyberpunk 2077, their upcoming first-person action-RPG game set in the Cyberpunk tabletop universe. Last year’s demo impressed everyone who was lucky enough to get in to see it and CDPR decided to release it publicly just a few months later. It seems like they’ll be doing the same thing this year, as E3 2019’s demo looks to be released during PAX West.
Twitter user @shinobi602 posted a video description from Gamespot, which was only shown as a live gameplay demo by appointment at E3, stating the gameplay video would be released during Gamescom, which takes place toward the end of August. It turns out fans will have to wait just a week later, according to CDPR’s global community lead Marcin Mormot.
It’s going to happen exactly during PAX West. 🙂

This plan worked out fairly well for the developer last year, as it gives them multiple bites at the same apple in terms of marketing. For right now, however, you can take a look at some of our E3 Cyberpunk coverage, like a list of the coolest things we saw in that demo. You can also listen to our impressions of the demo hot off the E3 floor.
