Capcom has had a pretty good week for Monster Hunter World news. Not only is it their best selling game ever, but they also detailed the upcoming Iceborne expansion. Excitement for Monster Hunter World is probably at the highest point since release, so it makes sense to scoop up those who might have some interest but have yet to take the plunge. Thus comes Monster Hunter World’s free trial on PlayStation 4 for players to try out for the next ten days.
The free trial lasts until May 20 and lets players take on up to three star quests, completely customize their own character, and go on expeditions in both the Ancient Forest an the Wildspire Wastes. You can also play online with people who have the free trial or the full game, as well as take that save file into the game should you decide to keep playing.
Monster Hunter World’s Iceborne expansion will be releasing on consoles on September 6. It will come in two variations: you can grab just the expansion if you already own the main game or get a bundle with both. Presumably save data from this demo will work with that version just as well.
