Just a few months ago, director Suda51 released Travis Strikes Again, a game set in the No More Heroes universe. While it wasn’t the No More Heroes games a lot of series fans wanted, it did hint quite a bit at things to come. With that level of teasing, it stands to reason a new No More Heroes game might be on the way, but we could see it as soon as E3.
When speaking to Siliconera, Suda51 was coy about his next major project. The outlet asked him directly about the ending to Travis Strikes Again, which hints at more No More Heroes in the future.
“I wonder what that was myself. It might be Travis messing around,” Suda laughed. “I hope around E3 time I’ll have something cool to announce.”
It does bear mentioning that, while Suda was in San Francisco for the Game Developer’s Conference in March, he tweeted the word “Ubisoft” with a picture of their logo. Ubisoft acted as the publisher for the first two No More Heroes titles in America, so they definitely have some association with the brand.
